We are delighted to be supporting Woodchester Endowed Primary school with their awesome Lion Hunt fundraiser which takes place THIS SUNDAY (10th April). We are looking forward to pottering around the village, looking for all the different lions, enjoying the beautiful countryside (Woodchester has some epic views) and, of course, having a gander at all the excellent properties! And to top it all off, there’s going to be a pizza van (courtesy of Box Kitchen Pizza) and a bar. What’s not to love?!
It’s all about community
We do love a good village event and this one is just along the road from our HQ in Nailsworth so it fits well with our ongoing efforts to show our support for the local community. Throughout the pandemic we’ve tried hard to champion the local businesses (particularly the shops) that we are proud to have as neighbours in our lovely little town. Let’s shout about this awesome corner of Gloucestershire and let everyone know how great it is.
One huge benefit of living in the Stroud Valleys area is the number of brilliant schools. But a lot of them are small and, after almost two years of cancelled fundraisers, they need our support more than ever. We believe that businesses such as ours have a responsibility to give back to the local community and that’s exactly why where getting involved.
The lions are looking roar-some!
As the excitement builds, we were delighted to receive these lovely pics of the children colouring in a very special Hudson Rose lion! Haven’t they done an amazing job? Let’s hope we can find it when we’re out hunting on Sunday.
But who are Hudson Rose?
If you’re in need of Mortgage advice in Stroud (and beyond), we’re a bit different from your typical financial advisors. We don’t tend to hide behind the grey corporate stuff, we prefer to be our true authentic selves, take us as you find us and we’ll do the same with you!
We give our clients lots of time, we really get to know you and we work hard to ensure that the mortgage application process is as stress-free as possible. We’ll explain all the jargon, minimise the paperwork and keep you informed and updated right through to completion.
We’d like to send a mighty roar to all the team working hard to make the Woodchester Lion Hunt happen – we’re sure it will be a huge success. See you there!
